Chris Battye

Managing Director

Chris has been involved directly or indirectly with StrategA since its inception in 1992. He has first hand knowledge and understanding of the StrategA Cube Model, the Parallax Approach to behaviour profiling and the Internet technology that delivers and supports the business. He rebuilt the Parallax computer system to facilitate customisation of reports (e.g. Competency Frameworks). Uniquely in the management team, he fully understands both the technology of the Cube Model and the computer system that delivers the profiles to the end users.

Chris worked part-time in the business since 1997 when he went to University. He joined the business full time in 2002. He gained a BA in 2000 and an MSc in 2002 from Loughborough University. His dissertation for his Masters degree was on a project involving Parallax and Rolls Royce. He joined the Board in 2003. He also served as a director for a leading Executive Search firm from 2004 until 2006. They used the Parallax Approach in countless assignments. Chris spends his time equally between the profiling business, the competency frameworks business and any related consultancy assignments.

Chris has the primary responsibility for supporting and developing all aspects of the business. As the business continues to grow, he will, increasingly, be involved in the consultancy side of the business. Since childhood, he has been steeped in the technology of pattern-based behavioural profiling and, apart from John Battye and Alan Webster, he knows more about the subject than anyone else. Chris took on the responsibilities of Managing Director in 2011.
